Restocking the Bare Necessities A Mini Haul

I recently had to do a small restock on my can’t-live-withouts despite my current spending ban. It’s always a little painful when you run out of your favorite products. Or when you only bought one shade in a foundation that you like totally fell in love with and come Winter time you’re even paler than you even thought possible and now your once perfect shade makes you look like an oompa loompa and you keep trying to make it work but it’s totally not. No? Just me…?

The NARS Creamy Concealer* had been out of my life for far too long (we’re talking close to a year) as I tried out other concealers. But Chantilly is my #1 and I don’t know what I was thinking. I also bit the bullet and got the full sized Hourglass Ambient Strobe Lighting Powder in Incandescent Light* that I waxed poetic about in my Panned Palettes post (go take a peek and read about why it’s my favorite highlighter). The baby Veil Mineral Primer was just an added (and adorable) bonus.

As a quick side note, I picked up the lightest shade in the Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able Foundation* (Ivory Light 10and much to my surprise, it’s actually a little too pale for me (but perfect for mixing with my previous shade, Ivory Medium 14) . Heads up to my fellow pale princesses.
